distrib-u-tec is a line of software products developed by InterSect Business Systems Inc. for Food Distributors, Packers and Processors.  

distrib-u-tec was initially developed in concert with six Food Distributors and Packers.  This joint initiative was based upon a desire for a comprehensive PC Windows based Solution with the depth and Industry features previously only available in large UNIX or AS400 environments.  These corporations acted as industry consultants and software Beta sites, over the course of three years between 1996 and 1999.  All of the original Beta sites, remain distrib-u-tec clients today.
